I am a Mechanical/Marine Engineer. With experience specialized in mechanical and propulsion system selection and integration. I am currently the chief mechanical engineer leading a team performing the integration of mechanical equipment and systems on the various programs at Halter Marine. Previously I served as propulsion lead for the USCG polar icebreaker, TAO oiler, and many concept design proposals. My roles have also included developing shipboard marine systems, as test engineer, and concept level machinery integrator. This has included being lead for various ship integration studies incorporating technologies such as Integrated electric propulsion, Laser and Rail Gun weapons systems, advanced missle defense radar systems, as well as various cost reduction efforts and DARPA technology initiatives.
