Autonomous trajectory redesign research and flight software implementation in Autonomous Systems Division 34 and Mission Design and Navigation Section 392. Grant NNX11AM78H.- Worked with JPL engineers to develop representative mission scenarios and successfully demonstrated the ability of the Automated Trajectory Redesign Tool developed during my Ph.D. to handle needs of future missions such as an orbiter of Phobos.- Successfully ran the Automated Trajectory Redesign Tool on a RAD750 flight hardware testbed, demonstrating the feasibility of onboard implementation.- Worked with Flight Electronics and Software Systems to develop a real-time architecture and algorithm adjustments to run under flight hardware operational constraints.- Participated in Lander Vision System meetings to learn ongoing development of an onboard software system in preparation for the Mars 2020 mission.
