Hello! My name is Eric Tu and have graduated from Florida International University with my Computer Science Bachelor's Degree. I have recently started a position with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond as a Discover Analyst. I started taking an interest in technology in middle school where I spent a lot of time building computers in my computer class. From there, I worked as an intern at my high school in a group called PC Support where we helped staff and students with technological problems ranging from projector issues to standard computer problems like no internet or sound. In college, I took classes for my Computer Science degree to get experience in programming, databases, automation, and more. With my background being mostly in User Support, diving into different fields helps me not only understand what each field entails, but learning the processes of each one helps develop new skills in those fields. As a result, I have taken an interest in IT fields whether it be from planning/creating networks or helping users/customers with their technological issues.Things posted here are my own personal opinions and do not necessarily reflect the views of others in the Federal Reserve System.
