I guided early technical and product decisions, as the first engineer I was called on to not only act as an individual contributor but assist in strategic technical and product direction. In my time as Lead I was able to deliver our MVP, expand product availability and start to grow our Engineering org.- Delivered MVP to beta States (CA + TX)- Expand product availability to cover top States (80% coverage nationwide)- Started to build additional product offerings (Trust, Guardian and Healthcare Docs)

I was enlisted to facilitate the rebuild of Sourcify's B2C two-sided marketplace MVP. I lead a team of engineers and contract designers in an effort to modernize and improve upon the simple web app that was provided as a proof of concept. My duties were to conceptualize, mock and manage the product development, as well as act as the front end developer. I delivered a v1 of the product and managed the team on iterative feature and design updates. The v1 of the product resulted in the following:• A 100x increase in monthly user registration.• Registration of 200+ factories (the B side of the marketplace).• Monetization solution for secure payment to Chinese and other foreign factories• A user friendly web application that promoted and increased B2C interaction by ~33%During my time there we were accepted and graduated from Y-Combinators W2018 batch and raised our seed round of $2.9M on the strength of v1.

As a founding team member, I helped grow Industry from a team of 5 to over 20. During my time I lead multiple projects and co-managing an 8-member development team.
