Research Experience for Undergraduates program position funded by the National Science Foundation. Worked in the lab of Dr. Derek L. Patton, Assistant Professor, directly assisting Dr. Ryan Hensarling. Formulated and executed research pertaining to the synthesis of coumarin-based polymer chains and post-synthesis functionalization through reversible photodimerization of coumarin to the polymer brush.
