Creatief atelier Zandstorm (www.zandstorm.com) is the side project I run together with my wife.For those who know me, "creativity" is my middle name. ICT was never an economical choice for me, but a logical extention of my creativity; being able to create 'virtual' things.With Zandstorm we organise workshops in lots of 'real' creative disciplines like Silver jewelry making (Art Clay Silver, Bronzeclay, Copper clay), glassfusing, glass beading (flameworking), Powertex textile hardening, woodweaving, etc.

Within this context, there was the need for data expertise to migrate data from Axapta to the tight data format of SAP. My job consisted in helping to analyse the data mappings between Axapta and SAP, building queries to migrate data, automating the data transfer via complex VBA scripts and SAP GUI scripts. Parallel to the Minerva mission I also developed a webportal with dashboards supporting the day-to-day business of the Water-link warehouses. Being a fully experienced webdeveloper I also had the opportunity to develop my first iOS app during this mission.

[BNPParibas Fortis - VIQUO]When BNPParibas acquired Fortis, there was a need to coordinate the integration projects between the two banks.The VIQUO department was created in order to serve as the SPOC for both bank entities, helping to coordinate and facilitate mutual integration projects.My responsabilities in this department were:- Project coordination during the whole project lifecycle, - Discuss and defend projects to ISRM security, - International coordination with the different project committees in Paris, - SPOC for all XFB (Middleware) transfers inside the whole Fortis BNP Paribas group.

[Fortis - International I&O Coordination]Inside the "International I&O department" we were responsible for the infrastructure & operational support of the international branches of Fortis bank.The assignments were very versatile (analysis, study, setup, deployment, testing, assistance) and included disaster recovery of the different branches, assisting in relocations, clearing projects and several other projects (eg. I co-founded Prime Projects with two other friends already active in the entertainment sector.Initially we never had the idea to become a publishing/media company, the publications were just a tool to promote our own events.But all got in a waterfall and our advertising efforts got bundled in a local magazine, the magazine suddenly got funded by advertizers, and after two years we were all over in Belgium with Move-X (60k NL + 40k FR copies). New magazines followed quickly: Cult of Cool, Cult of Chic, Happy Days, but also specials like 'Discotheken gids', etc.Prime Projects extended its activitities and changed its name to Prime Projects Media Group.New activities included: event organisation (Move-X Dance Awards), radio show, digital TV channels (Belgacom TV), creative think-thank for brands like Coca Cola, etc.
