I've helped to produce and direct multiple video productions on a local, regional and national level. My experience includes television broadcast, in-stadium/arena video board production and award shows. I've worked various TV sports broadcasts, from producing elements to overseeing the full show, as well as special events like producing segments for telethons.In-stadium/arena video board production includes the NCAA College World Series, NCAA Summit League Basketball Tournaments and others.Award show experience includes ADDY Awards and NACDA Awards Luncheons and Receptions. The ADDY Awards are an annual event sponsored by the South Dakota Advertising Federation and AAF. The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) hosts an annual convention for NCAA Athletic Directors from around the country. This event includes three awards luncheons/receptions with video production. I organize the pre-production video and graphics and oversee a crew of camera, audio and EVS operators and engineers at the events. Past shows have been in Dallas, TX, Orlando, FL and Anaheim, CA.

I freelance as an Audio Engineer (A1 or A2) for TV sports broadcasts and other live events. I've worked football, volleyball, wrestling, basketball, auto racing, rodeo and hockey, as well as other non-sporting events like Presidential visits, political debates, remote newscasts, election coverage, telethons and more. Some of the companies I've worked for include, Midco Sports Network, Fox Sports Network, CBS Sports Network, Midwest Sports Channel, Versus (NBC Sports Network), CMN, KELO-TV & SMSU.

I've provided voiceovers and audio editing for advertising agencies, businesses, sports venues, sports teams, television stations, radio stations and numerous other customers around the United States. A majority of my work is in the upper Midwest, but you can also catch me in markets like Houston, San Francisco, Orlando, Daytona, Omaha and more. Results Radio, a owned by Townsquare Media, is an eight station cluster in Sioux Falls, SD. I have worked various shifts on three of the stations and can fill in for any time slot, live or voice tracked. In addition, I have done some minor web site work for one of the stations and have done some commercial production and voice over work.

Oversee staff and operations for live broadcasts, original programming, as well as sponsorship opportunities for the Network. Helped to build a new studio, edit suites and overall operation flow for video and project management. Instrumental in developing IP-based live sports production process and infrastructure.

Served over 10 years on the SDAF Board of Directors and Executive Board. Held various positions in the organization as ADDY Co-Chair, Education Chair, Secretary, Treasure, Vice President and two-term President. I traveled to district and national AAF conventions representing SDAF. I also produced ADDY's show content, helped with judging and have been part of the ADDY's production crew. I have been an SDAF member for over 20 years.

Executive Producer - August 2013Provided leadership and direction for the Production, Encoding/Technical and Midco Sports Network groups across the region.Business Sales Support Manager - March 2013 - August 2013I oversaw the Production Department, Encoding/Technical Department, Ad Sales Support and B2B Sales Support groups. I also provided creative direction for promos for Midco Sports Network.Production Department - May 2012 - March 2013In the production department, I would provide creative and production direction for commercials and promos for advertisers, internal projects and Midco Sports Network. It included copywriting, voiceovers, art direction, project/account management, client meetings, proposals and pitches.

My region was the south central and southwestern United States and I worked with professional, college and high school teams and facilities. I collaborated with advertisers and ad agencies to create content (video, graphics, animations) for their large screen LED video and ribbon board displays. On the sports side, I provided consulting for game day production and provided event production support.

I would work closely with the sales department and advertisers to develop TV commercials. I would write, produce and voice the commercials, as well as shoot and edit video. I also traveled with our live sports crew and would help to produce packages, opens and sponsor segments during the live events. I would set-up and mix the audio on site from the production truck.

KMHL Broadcasting is a radio station group in Marshall, MN with four stations. I was one of a few employees who could work all four stations and cover any shift. I also managed the mobile DJ system and would schedule and provide the entertainment for dances and other events.
