Eric Villanueva Dela Cruz is the founder and Creative Navigator of TAXI Theater. He is a freelance creative consultant, and theater practitioner – actor, director, writer and educator. He has been involved in numerous productions with several professional theater companies and school-based groups here in the Philippines and has also appeared in television, film and commercials. He received his training from Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA), Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), Tanghalang Pilipino, New Voice Company, and GMA Artist Center. He is a former chairperson of the Theater Arts Program of the School of Design and Arts (SDA) in the De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) and a former Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech Communication and Theatre Arts in the University of the Philippines Diliman. He designs and facilitates workshops in acting and theater production as well as various leadership and communications training for organizations. He is received his Master’s Degree in Theater Arts from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. He is a senior artist-teacher of PETA.
