I am a Toronto-based arts journalist, film programmer and producer originally from Northern Ontario. A Swiss army knife on any team, who can handle creative production, management responsibilities, as well as the business development required to see a project succeed. As the Culture Reporter for Radio-Canada's daily morning show in Toronto, I reported on all things culture happening in the city, from heritage issues, upcoming events, new books and graphic novels hitting the bookshelves to new films opening Friday. I also took to the streets of Toronto and beyond to learn more about its cultural fabric from notable experts, documenting the city's cultural evolution.At The Revue Cinema — Toronto's oldest operating movie theatre — I handled all film bookings, series development, monthly flyer production/editing, as well as the organization's business development (advertising sales, rentals, etc.).From 2009 to 2015, I was a regular contributor to the Toronto Star, writing for Insight, Entertainment, and covering the city's cocktail scene and global spirits business for the Living section. For three years, I penned the weekly "A drink with..." column, chatting with Toronto notables. I was also a regular contributor to the Globe & Mail, Canadian Business, The Grid, CBC Music, Canadian Fabric, Rue Morgue and various Rogers publications.On television, I was a North American correspondent for France 24, covering culture, film and red carpets from Toronto to California. As a film programmer, I've produced screenings for TIFF, Rendezvous With Madness Film Festival, Images Festival, The Royal Cinema, The Fox Theatre, the Royal Ontario Museum, among others.
