I am the Systems Engineer Manager for Aruba's Mountain Commercial operation. and manage Systems Engineers in Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. I work as co-leader for the operation in tandem with the Sales Director, providing technical leadership and operational guidance for the group.

Assist all teams in Aruba Mountain Region with sales support for major newopportunities and existing accounts. Act as a liaison between the field team andtechnical resources at HQ, including TAC, engineering, etc.Report as a Consulting Systems Engineer to provide feedback to corporate (ProductMarketing, TME) on issues seen in our region, and to provide information to the fieldon relevant information from HQ.Responsible for pre-sales engineering efforts with Aruba Networks in Arizona and NewMexico.Assist customers in design, implementation, and integration of Aruba Networks’products into various environments. This includes WiFi design (indoor/outdoor),secure network integration, device/guest management, and remote networkingsolutions.Deliver presentations on Aruba’s product portfolio and WiFi technologies to customersand prospects. Lead presentations at seminars, conventions and other technicalgatherings.

Worked with SiegeWorks/Fishnet customers in design/implementation of best ofbreed security products and technologies. Specialized in network security withemphasis on wireless deployments, network access controls, VPN, and encryption.Deployed products from Aruba, Check Point, Cisco, Juniper, Tipping Point, ArcSight,RSA/EMC, and others.Delivered extensive client documentation, including the preparation of corporatenetwork security policies, assessment/inventory reports, and product implementationdeliverables.Worked with the Western Region sales team as a pre-sales technical resource. Thisincluded presentation delivery in the field as well as preparing statements of work andRFI/RFP response documentation.

Designed and implemented various security solutions, including products from CheckPoint, Nokia, Aruba Networks, and Juiniper/Netscreen. Reviewed and developedcorporate security policies and conducted network assessments for large customers toassist in deploying effective security solutions.Assisted sales team with customer meetings, and completed requires salesdocumentation (RFI, RFP, SOW, executive summaries).

Educated customers on Check Point products. And assisted them in architectingefficient and secure networks. Extensive firewall/VPN design for clients of all sizes,including Fortune 500 companies.Provided pre-sales technical support to all sales and marketing efforts for all partnersand end users in AZ, NM, and southern NV.Delivered presentations frequently at trade shows, symposiums, and other largetechnical gatherings.

Managed consultants on several projects for a Fortune 500 corporation.Designed and implemented secure centralized firewall/VPN management (200+firewalls) for large international corporations.Planned and implemented security and performance solutions for enterprise-classcomputer networks.Acted as a technical resource for the Southwest Region (AZ, NV, NM, Southern CA).Prepared Statement of Work and RFI/RFP response documentation.
