• Was the lead engineer for a Synchro analysis of 29 intersections in various municipalities in Essex County, NJ. Modeled existing conditions by interpreting traffic signal plans, signal timing directives, and electrical as-builts. Performed a field investigation to verify cycle lengths of antiquated traffic signals.• Conducted a highway safety investigation of the Whitestone Expressway in Queens, NY following a fatal crash. A comprehensive report was prepared for the NYSDOT commissioner which contained police report summaries, average crash rates, and the results of a field investigation which found substandard geometry within the study area.• Developed a Traffic Screening Memo for a proposed train shed replacement at Grand Central Terminal. Discussed with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority the methodology for detouring passenger car equivalents throughout midtown Manhattan. Was submitted to NYCDOT to confirm study intersections for a future traffic study.• Designed proposed lighting plans, lighting notes, and lighting removal plans for an intersection in Brooklyn, NY. Used MicroStation to draft the locations of luminaires, junction boxes, and other electric equipment while consulting NYCDOT Street Lighting Standard Drawings.• Created ITS plans for proposed ITS devices at a highway interchange near Scranton, PA. Collaborated with other engineers in Bluebeam and MicroStation to draft the locations of CCTV cameras and Variable Message Signs while following PennDOT ITS Standard Drawings.

• Served as lead analyst for a Transit project for the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA). Collected motor vehicle crash data in Harrisburg and York from 2016-2020 and plotted in ArcGIS Pro to determine if there is a correlation between the location of 220 bus stops and motor vehicle crashes. This analysis will decrease the number of motor vehicle crashes.• Improved motorist safety and decreased travel time by performing a Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) for PennDOT. Evaluated ten study intersections impacted by two 400,000 square foot distribution centers in Middletown Township, PA. Performed Synchro and HCM 6th Edition analyses to determine the Level of Service (LOS) and queue length for each intersection. • Created a Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) plan using Autodesk Civil 3D. Mitigated vehicular and pedestrian traffic and implemented an alternate travel route during the construction of the Schuylkill Avenue Research Building for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

• Interned under a Professional Engineer performing Environmental Engineering consulting work. • Aided in the completion of a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for a mixed-use site development. This measure mitigated potential hazardous risks from affecting the outside environment.• Assisted in the remediation of a contaminated site with acquired data from a sub-slab depressurization system (SSDS). The analysis of this data confirmed the expulsion of contaminants from the sub-slab environment.• Advised the Engineer in completion of a Forensic Engineering Report for a home that sustained water damage from excessive rainfall to determine the cost of damages to the home. This aided AIG Insurance in processing a valid insurance claim.• Confirmed the proper installation of a vapor barrier in the foundation of a large seniorliving complex to mitigate contaminants from entering the site.
