In this cross functional role, I collaborated with the Board of Directors to define start up goals, develop policies and procedures, and to establish the brand for a new entity interconnecting Hoyer Global and Dupre Trucking. Together, we introduced effective IT tools to track loads, engage with clients, and organize critical data. I delivered strategic oversight and direction of start up strategy execution aligned with short and long range objectives and also implemented product management, customer service, and analysis procedures such as communications, training & development, and import/export metrics/KPI's. Using many forms of communication, I engaged with both Ports of Houston, both railroads, and drove timely, quality export in gating, and discharging of import tanks.

In this management role, I provided astute P&L management of $35M for the largest ISO tank trucking and dispatch terminal in the world. I directed workflows for over 135 truck drivers and 25 support staff and managed core operations such as HR, Safety, 24/7 dispatch operations, and in house payroll & billing. I catalyzed profitability through the strategic management of P&L processes governing a $6M depot operation. I developed and led workstreams including trucking, dispatching, and service excellence/retention. I was instrumental in the supervision, development, and mentorship of 30+ drivers, as well as, the office support staff (8-10 member unit). Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area

In this role, I dispatched and supervised 50 LTL drivers, and set their daily delivery plans. This was accomplished by manipulating the inbound reports received over night once the outbound shift had completed data entry of all pick ups and their destinations.

Was sent to Singapore after a strike/walk out depleted the staff to less the 50% required. Worked closely with HR, training, and legal to hire and promote qualified individuals to replace the open positions. We filled 75 positions in 6 weeks by fast tracking training and promoting top performing students.

Managed 40 driver's ensuring efficient delivery and pick up of express packages. Maintained personnel records, performed annual performance reviews, conduct driver rides to ensure standard acceptable methods were being optimized. Scheduled drivers routes 4 weeks in advance for planning purposes, and was involved in district policies and served as subject matter expert or improvements to productivity and reducing expenses.
