Eric Walloga earned his associate’s degree in computer technology from the National Education Center’s Tampa Technical Institute. He began his career as a premise sales representative for GTE Directories, Inc., where he was responsible for the acquisition of new customer accounts for the company’s directory advertising through sales calls and field visits. In this position, Eric Walloga had the honor of serving as the acting district manager and was the winner of several sales canvass awards. He then became the permanent district sales manager for GTE Directories, took on the responsibility of managing and supervising a seven-person unit within the premise sales division, and consistently helped his team finish in the top of their division for actual revenue growth. In 1996, Mr. Walloga earned the Distinguished Management Award, which recognized him as one of the top district sales manager nationally, and was thereafter promoted to division manager. Currently, Eric Walloga is the director of sales at the Houston-based Valassis, Inc. Mr. Walloga is the recipient of the company’s 2012 Distinguished Sales Performance Recognition, 2011 Century Club Award, and 2010 Quota Maker Award.
