Eric Watts is an industrial development leader with vast experience across due diligence, entitlement, construction, leasing, and sourcing. He develops high-impact industrial facilities on a speculative and build-to-suit basis; drawing upon 20+ years experience to drive financially disciplined investments. Prior to joining Flint Development as Vice President of Development, Eric was the Director of Leasing at NorthPoint Development, the largest privately-held developer in the U.S. During his time in this role and that of Director of Industrial Development, he secured numerous Fortune 500 deals including Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot and Chewy. He was responsible for 30+ developments during his tenure, accounting for over 20 million sq. ft of class A industrial and capital investment totaling north of 1.5 billion dollars. Nearly 85% of his projects were 100% leased prior to substantial completion. Highlights include 22 developments in Pennsylvania along the I-78/I-81 corridor averaging 825,000 SF and 63 million dollars per development.In 2018, Eric moved to the Chicago area but will always consider Kansas City home. In his down time, you can find him snowboarding in Colorado, shooting hoops with his son, or analyzing baseball stats.
