Recruited to direct Memphis manufacturing operation and charged with turning around performance of gift-wrap manufacturing. Lead responsibility for Printing, Converting, Engineering, Raw Materials inventory management, and Quality Control. Direct a staff of 4 managers, 11 supervisors, and 480 hourly unionized employees (Teamsters). Report to VP of Manufacturing offsite.

Recruited to direct Atlanta manufacturing operation and charged with continuous process improvement in production of telephone directories. Unit cost responsibility for all manufacturing operations, engineering, in-process goods control in Atlanta, plus scheduling and customer service for whole enterprise. Direct a staff of 5 managers, 14 supervisors, and 175 hourly employees with 3 labor unions (3 separate locals of Teamsters). Report to President of Stevens Graphics, an AT&T company.

Recruited to manage Offset press department and stabilize printing of retail advertising inserts. Direct a staff of 5 supervisors and 90 hourly employees in continuous operation (24/7). Report to VP/GM.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Promoted to lead Dallas plant with full P&L responsibility of $90 million operation. Simultaneously exceeded Sunday magazine, news weekly, & catalog customer commitments while adding production capabilities to enter short run commercial & retail newspaper insert markets. Direct a staff of 10 managers, 25 supervisors, and 50 salaried and over 500 hourly employees. Report to Senior VP of Manufacturing.

Manage maintenance, engineering, & IT departments, plus lead cross functional team of technology subject matter experts.
