TERREAL is the French leader of building materials, tiles and bricks in terra-cotta (Turnover2016: 350M€ with 2,200 employees in 23 factories), who designs, produces and markets aesthetic, comfortable, performing and affordable solutions for detached houses and residential and tertiary buildings.I manage the Research center (35 people) based on 3 pillars: raw materials, industrial processes, products. My mission is to deliver, with the operations team, the waited performance (new products, new dryers and kilns) in the 4 new manufacturing units (3 in France, 1 in Malaysia for an investment of 130m€ in 2008).In 2010, I decide an evolution in depth of the Research center, by decentralizing the skills inside factories for increasing operational reactivity (performance, time to market).I focus the central expertise on medium and long-term projects, such as: knowledge management, increment of our reserves of clay, energy efficiency of factories, substitution of fossil fuels, understanding the stakes for the factory of future, in the context of existing industrial units.On the short term, the team remains focused on delivering high level expertise in full coordination with operations, engaged in a continuous improvement plan.In a depressed construction market, I introduce an innovation program and I build a consistent network , scientific partnerships (5 PhD and a joint Chair in 5 years) and collaborative projects (with construction stakeholders and universities).I lead innovation projects and I introduce on the market solutions for a Sustainable Building (positive energy social housing, heat recovery on the roof, biobased solutions), all being awarded and financially supported (national and european level) . In the context of a strategic review, I identify the 10 mega-trends which will have a significant impact on the company and its businesses by 2020, with an action plan.

ARISTON ThermoGroup is an Italian company and the world leader of electrical water heaters (Turnover 2007: 1.2 Mds€, 7000 employees); it is a significant actor of the wall gas boilers on the intermediate market segment, mainly in fast developing countries (Eastern Europe and China). Within 2 years from the concept, I introduce on the European market, successfully, a range of wall gas boilers by creating a product platform (800,000 products / year, 20 models, 2 brands), available on 2 production sites (France, Italy).This achievement has a decisive contribution on the convergence program for manufacturing, also revisiting the R*D organization of 2 sites (90 people).The dynamics created between the technical and marketing teams has generated value proposition and differentiation (range segmentation, brand identity, innovation), setting up a new suppliers base for codesign and outsourcing. Member of a core team, I manage the business unit with the Operations Director and the Purchasing Director.

BAXI Group Ltd is a British company and the third European group in the sector of heating systems (Turnover 2005: 1.2 Mds€, 6000 employees) on the upper segment of the market. I manage the activity of product development in France, also the marketing and the industrialization, quickly renewing the product portfolio (50 % of sales realized by products of less than 2 years in France).The product development is then a well-balanced combination of innovation (the launch of an unprecedented cast iron monobloc heat exchanger) and of standardization with the implementation of a multibrand product platform. I lead the development of the floor-standing boiler range (gas and oil, 20 to 800kW) at the European level, with 5 design offices (Denmark, Germany, UK, Turkey and France). Member of the Executive Committee France, I contribute to the industrial strategic review (resizing, transfer, joint-venture) in 3 successive sales of the Group.

BOSCH GmbH is a German company and the European leader of the heating systems. I am in charge of the development of the new products in France (for the "elm leblanc" brand) and I lead an innovation project to develop an atmospheric low-NOx burner for gas boilers in response to a drastic regulation change. I am deeply involved in the cultural change during this period, what includes the launch, within 6 months, of a new range of boilers, thanks to a fast deverticalization of the activity and the integration of components shared from the Group. I obtain ISO 9001 certification of the activity and the marking CE of the new product range.

PURFLUX is a French, leading company on the automotive market (oil, gasoline, air filters), with 50 million pieces produced a year. I contribute to the improvement of the performance of the new products and the confidence of the car manufacturers (Renault, PSA, Toyota). I develop the proof of concept of an interior air filter, that will be introduced on the market later.
