I'm passionate about helping young people get a good start in life, and "probably" co-hold the record for sponsoring more kids through 6-9 week summer coding bootcamps... more than 4,000 kids @ dozens of high schools. We must always find time & resources to invest in the next generation.For more than 20 years I have led software projects, while serving in various roles including full time senior software engineer, solution architect, VP Product, VP Engineering, CTO & CEO, Board Member and/or Investor. I am happiest when PRODUCING great solutions, and seeing them deployed to production.Have led projects (or companies) in SaaS, ERP / FinTech, EdTech (even consumer goods, manufacturing), and led venture backed engineering teams that built dozens of MVPs, using mostly open source technologies like Ruby, Python, Php, Node, React, Angular, VueJS, etc (new ones almost every year). Lots of private enterprise native apps on iOS & Android, and a few Xamarin. (Now focussed on React Native for mobile, depending on the requirements.)Numerous rounds of funding closed, including equity, complex structured debt, convertible debt, and royalty income based alternative non-dilutive investment structures. Extensive experience marketing and analyzing business models to formulate consultative strategies. Special talent: Seeing obstacles early, and planning multiple steps ahead.I love the intersection of business, marketing, science and industry... and thrive when leading cross-functional teams.
