Throughout my 29+ years of experience in Information Security, I have applied, advanced IT principles and security concepts, methods, standards, and practices to accomplish assignments. I have built numerous interrelationships across multiple IT specialties and security disciplines, systems security principles and concepts to ensure regulatory compliance and compliance with IT Security best practices. My knowledge of application and system security certification and accreditation requirements and processes of information systems security protocols maintained the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the IT resources that I was charged to safeguard. I have spearheaded several application security and configuration compliance implementations, and have led the development and implementation of several disaster recovery and business continuity plans, IT security audits, and risk management efforts which required direct and extensive communication with executive management, non-IT managers, coworkers, and end-users. I have resolved conflicts, obtained wide-spread cooperation, provided IT Security Awareness and Compliance training and provided technical assistance as needed, and have communicate complex issues orally and in writing; prepared and presented briefings and recommendations to management; and prepared system documentation and technical reports.
