As senior VP, I led new product development and technical design ownership of hemodialyzers, hollow fiber membranes, therapeutic apheresis adsorbers, blood tubing circuits, blood circulation cassettes, and peritoneal dialysis cassettes. Moreover, I delivered directly to a development team of 150+ engineers, scientists, and technicians in numerous global locations.My accomplishments within this role are the following:• Oversaw two 510(k) submissions and supported CE mark and NMPA registrations within the fully remote environment in 2021.• Streamlined product portfolios and initiated globalization of platforms. Developing reusable modules and components improved quality and shortened development times, reducing development cycle times by 50%.• Managed >8M Euro budget and achieved targets consistently, year-over-year, managing long-term plans for needed competencies and reduction in force of redundant areas. Delivered long-term product development strategy and managed full-life-cycle product development activities from idea generation through development, validation, and product launch.
