Eric Yaverbaum co-founded 21 year old Jericho Communications and served as President from 1985 until it's sale in 2006 to MDC. At the time, Jericho was ranked nationally as the 11th best agency in the country to work for. He is a regular on the lecture circuit, speaking to professional organizations and universities across the country. He also is a frequent talk show guest on national and regional television and radio programs, including weekly appearances on Fox News and MSNBC. Yaverbaum writes for the Washington Post and Huffington Post for the past year and has appeared on everything from CBS This Morning to The Today Show to CNN to Larry King Live. He co-authored the best-selling book I’ll Get Back to You (McGraw Hill,Dec. 1998). Yaverbaum is also the author of Public Relations Kit For Dummies (Wiley Books, Feb. 2001). He wrote his third book, Leadership Secrets of the World’s Most Successful CEOs (Dearborn, March 2004), which sold slightly over one million copies. Eric completed the second edition of Public Relations for Dummies in March of 2006. His fifth book was Everything Leadership (Adams, May 2008). Yaverbaum’s last book which he co-authored with his 21 year old daughter Cole was Life's Little College Admissions Insights (Morgan James, January 2010).Eric was an active member of the highly selective Young President’s Organization, where he was the Chapter Chairman in NYC. Eric’s widely acclaimed “Walk A Mile in My Shoes” campaign helped push increased spending on stem cell research through the house and led to his being named one of the heroes of public relations industry by industry bible, PR Week.
