Worked on the Triage Mail Experience for Outlook Web App• Developed scalable backend APIs and extensible front end React components to deliver features such as bulk actions for categories and customization of the triage command bar.• Optimized the list view performance by reducing unnecessary renders, forced reflows, and implementing DOM virtualization. Lowered end to end latency of some of the most used triage actions by 32% at the 90th percentile. Reduced item expansion latency by 1500ms and row removal latency by 1000ms.• Strengthened the consumer spam filter stack (the largest UserVoice complaint). Worked on a team to reduce total tickets by 53% in 6 months.• During a company hackathon, built a proof-of-concept dev build demonstrating a motion language with animations in the message list. Worked with design and PM to fully fund the feature.• Mentored a summer intern to plan, design, develop, and ship a feature to change zoom levels in the reading pane for improved accessibility.
