Assisted and led the project team in the absence of the project manager over the course of construction on several multi-family complexes. Key job responsibilities include, upkeep and adjusting project budgets, plan review and redlines, maintaining of schedules, and the drafting of documents for monthly draw meetings with the owners. Several other day-to-day tasks include generating and tracking of RFI's, submittals, daily logs, prime & sub change orders, meeting with potential clients and subcontractors, plan and specifications review, and obtaining and qualifying project proposals.Made site visits for quality control, safety, meeting with subcontractors and engineers for RFI review, preparing for first/final walks, and leading owners/management on all building walks for turnover.

Assistant Superintendent in Boerne, Texas building a 74 unit senior living facility. Day to day procedures included general oversight and safety of all trades working onsite, pushing the schedule and making sure subs were lined out - working where they needed to be as to not affect other trades and potentially delay site production. Other duties included answering questions and resolving conflicts with subs, operating machinery as needed, preping for weekly safety and site progress meetings, reviewing plans to ensure everything is built/installed per plan, creating punch lists for building turn over/acceptance, and creating punch lists and self preforming work as needed for TDADS inspections.During time as an assistant superintendent I was asked to temporarily fill in where needed on other job sites and self preform work needed for other TDADS inspections.

In addition to my role with Greater Dallas Renovations, I added to my construction experience by expanding my role into the roofing side of the company. I was working under direct supervision of the South Texas General Superintendent to oversee several commercial low slope roofing jobs. Experienced in new construction shingle, TPO, and modified roofing systems. Day to day duties included general safety and oversight of crews working on several jobs across San Antonio, quality control, material management, and punch out work/inspections. When needed, I would step in to help install and repair shingles and TPO, install flashing, and minor punch work as needed to repair and prevent leaks.

I received requests and searched for companies looking to renovate multi-family housing and seek out sub contractors who can accomplish what needs to be done; we worked on interior and exterior projects of all sizes. This was my first professional experience working in the construction industry. I learned a lot with this great company in 2 short years leading up to a framing job on a 75 unit senior living facility approximately 80k sqft.Full kitchen remodels, exterior painting, mold remediation, fire and flood damage, gutters, minor site work, framing, masonry and steel repair, etc.
