I am a fourth-year student at the University of Utah pursuing a bachelor's in civil engineering with a minor in nuclear engineering. I am currently interning at TRC Companies, a leading company in the oncoming energy transition.I was awarded second place in the Daniel W. Mead Ethics Paper and presentation competition at the ASCE 2024 Intermountain Southwest Student Symposium where the topic of the competition was to "Discuss how engineers need to evaluate their ethical responsibilities as they determine whether or how to use AI to aid in their work."I enjoy learning about how the world works, from the tiny minutia of particle interactions to the political movements of larger organizations. I volunteer with the Associated Students at the University of Utah where I have been working on legislative solutions to sustainability problems on campus. My interests include civil engineering, nuclear engineering, politics, international relations, communication, and community outreach.
