I described myself as a mechanist in my therapeutic technique. I closely study joint mobility and mechanics, and perform treatments that combine a strong manual therapy approach along with exercise prescription and neuromuscular approaches to restore normal movement. I emphasize strength and balance, specifically with older adults. Through the restoration of body strength and balance, there is less load and force on the joints, ligaments, and afflicted tendons. I have extensive education in the evaluation and treatment of shoulder problems and have taken numerous continuing education courses with the specific emphasis on the shoulder region and covering all types of injuries and problems related to shoulder function. I treat both non-surgical and post-surgical patients. I enjoy working with baseball players and other overhead athletes in high school, college, and beyond.
