Corporate pilot duties including flight planning, preflight, and passenger logistics with service to a wide variety of airports on a high performance twin turboprop aircraft.

Leading simulator sessions for clients and pilots from all backgrounds and experience levels on the Boeing 737-8, the Cessna 172 and even F16 and F18 fighter jets in state of the art simulators.For the majority of clients I had to teach in the most efficient and fun manner how to fly these different aircraft in very short time frames.

I worked only for a very short time for this company, as soon after I was selected to start flying for Level Europe. Although my time here was short, I learned a lot about airport operations. As a load master I oversaw the ground operations around arriving and departing aircraft, assisting ground handlers, making load sheets and minimising delays.As a dispatcher I coordinated ground equipment and teams to different aircraft, rapidly responding to schedule changes and delays.

As a flight operations agent I monitored and prepared the day-to-day flight operations for a fleet of 24 small to large business jets in world-wide operations. Schedules and destinations frequently change in this type of operations, so I monitored and re-arranged the impact of these changes like crew flight- and duty time limitations, airport opening hours, flight plans, slots etc. Some other daily tasks consisted of:- Prepare, optimise and file flight plans- Check weather, notams and ATC delays- Performance and weight & balance calculations- Feasibility checks for special operations- Slot arrangements and coordination with local handling, fuelling, and catering- Liaise with the group OPS centre in Cambridge, UK - Assist the ground and flight ops management with various supporting tasks- Request slot- and flight route improvements- Monitor fuel prices at destinations and optimize fuel tankering- Support the flight crew training department- Request flight crew visa’s- Arrange client and crew transfers- Request and verify overflight- and landing permits - Inform and support the flight crew for each mission- Book and coordinate hotels, limousines, car rentals, catering and press.

In 2006 when the aviation industry was still in a low I started as a self employed entrepreneur a holiday homes business. I bought, renovated and sold small holiday homes, overviewed the projects and finances, took care of the the marketing, sales and after care.In 2010 I moved to Spain, where I managed, refurbished, and rented out pool villas on the holiday market. I developed my own website and reservation system, designed the marketing and did the communication and assistance of all European clients. In this very customer oriented service market I had to manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders and be persistent in moving projects along with diplomacy and sensitivity.

As a QA Engineer I :- Assured that parts and assemblies were made exactly following the different customer specifications, with the right paperwork completed- Handled manufacturing discrepancies and made discrepancy repair reports on how to correct the parts within tolerances, or notified the customer about the discrepancy- Worked on a project titled Statistical Process Control to reduce costs of quality control while maintaining the assured quality, by analysing and working with lots of data- Did first article inspections on new production lines, like on the landing gear assembly for the Airbus A380 back then.

As an aircraft mechanic I worked in a 24/7 shift system on the maintenance of the fleet from Brussels Airlines. Daily maintenance checks were performed on the Airbus A319/A320 and Avro RJ100 fleet, but I mainly assisted on the bigger heavy maintenance like C and D checks.
