Twenty-four hour responsibility for the safey, quality and production for four production lines. I led a team of 6 managers 1 process engineer and 50+ union associates made up of both production workers a maintenance technicians. My primary responsiblity was to managing the area to assure the scheduled production was achieved, drive process improvement initiatives and operate the area within the budgeted allowances

Responsible for production on a keg line and the uptime of warehouse palletizers. I was able to improve the performance in both area by the use of multiple lean manufacturing tools and key proformance indicators to make busness decisions for the area. I led this twenty-four hour operation with a team of 20+ empowered union workers and maintenance technicians and one maintenance manager.

Work with production workers and their supervisor to evaluating situation on the production floor to improve production performance. Assessing the performance of production workers to identify training needs and assist in planning to execute their training. Expanding the process knowlegde of the production worker, resulting in adding to their daily responsibilities.

Reduced warehouse staffing requirements through job consolidation at both the salaried and bargining unit level. Managed warehouse operations, (loading trailer, palletizing full goods, shipping full goods, empty glass receiving), within the budget. Improved on the previous years performance each year.
