I am a Senior at Auburn University studying Business Analytics. I have joined two organizations since I have come to Auburn. I have joined the professional development/business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi. I have also joined the social fraternity Delta Chi. In Delta Chi I have ran for the new member educator position and was elected to become the educator for the 2023 calendar year. This position has taught me valuable skills such as adaptability, time management, and leadership. As a new member educator, it is my job to instruct the new members on where and when to attend events and what information they need to know while becoming a new member. The business fraternity has given me resume feedback and interview practice. I have critiqued resumes and been on both sides of an interview many times while being a member of Alpha Kappa Psi. Through these organizations, I have gained meaningful experience that will help me gain the knowledge I need to become an entrepreneur. My strengths include determination, communication, accountability, and problem solving. Throughout my life I have shown these skills and have gotten a much greater understanding of how to use these skills. In highschool, I showed all of these strengths by becoming a state champion in wrestling. I was determined and held myself accountable for years in order to achieve a goal. I had to communicate with coaches and teammates in order to figure out how I would go about training for this achievement. I have these strengths in areas of my life now as well. In my social fraternity, I show these strengths even more than I did in highschool. When it comes to elections, my fellow peers see these strengths in me and have elected me to leadership positions. My two greatest strengths are determination and accountability. Regardless of any role I hold, I exemplify these two strengths everyday to the people around me. Whether it be simply giving someone a ride or doing an extremely hard task, if you ask someone about me they will say I exemplify determination and accountability.
