While maintaining a full class load at Wayne State University, I began my career at The Apparatus Room, a top tier restaurant, as a server assistant. After a brief period, I worked my way into a serving position. Eventually, I rose to server at the Chef’s Table, a separate dining room under the direction of the Two Michelin Star Executive Chef, Thomas Lents.My responsibilities were designed to ensure customer satisfaction and a dining experience catered to customer wants and needs. They included:- Memorization of the food and drink menus- Understanding the food preparation methodologies- Understanding food and drink flavor profiles- Presenting and selling the full experience of The Apparatus RoomFrom this experience, I have been educated in the pursuit of excellence in quality, professionalism,and courteousness, all while working in an often intense and fluid workplace environment.

At Lincoln Hills Golf Course and Springdale Golf Course (Birmingham, MI), I preformed generalmaintenance duties such as cutting greens, planting flower beds, course repair and fixing machinery.This job had a six-day work week starting at Five-Thirty in the morning. Much of the job was project-based and required flexibility depending on the number of golfers on the course, so multiple projectswere always in place. Timeliness, preventative maintenance, and workplace safety were of theutmost importance at Lincoln Hills and Springdale.
