• Took an Operations Department that had been underperforming for years and made the team one of the top performing stores consistently in the district within six months by setting expectations, coaching behaviors that enabled employees to maintain those expectations, and holding them accountable to them• Became a subject matter expert in home theater consumer electronics and related services• Controlled labor through daily/weekly/monthly behaviors and taught out to others in the market the behaviors that made us successful• Focused on and managed Human Resources procedures including; hiring, terminations, OSHA regulations, Affirmative Action Plan audits, etc.• Took a leadership role among local Operations Managers by running meetings and breakouts, district-wide performance tracking, and training new Operations Managers• Ran the store’s BOLD (leadership development) program, helping the company and store develop our next generation of leaders• Ran day-to-day business in a $30 million/year store by staffing, training, and ensuring execution by consistent analysis of the store’s Profit and Loss statement• Ran a Physical Inventory in which my store finished with a shrink trend of -.15 and contributed more than $20,000 to the bottom line of the store, one of the best in the company• Was asked to help with multiple Physical Inventory events in multiple markets, including co-running one event with a new-in-role Product Process Manager, adding countless thousands of dollars in savings across multiple districts• Managed a team of up to 120 employees, assisting in training, customer interactions, recognition, accountability, and more in an effort to deliver as much operating profit as possible• As a member of BANG (Brainerd Area Networking Group), brought business into the store through several partnerships with local businesses
