    The purpose of this study was to validate the MRI to measure pulsatile flow velocity. A phantom was used for the measurements under different circumstances and to prove the influence of various acquisition parameters on the measuring accuracy of PC-MRA. As a result the MRI-scanner is proven to be capable of measuring pulsatile flow velocity with pulse frequencies higher than 60 bpm.
