Served as Director of Product Management - Americas at AAF International, the global leader in air filtration solutions. AAF is part of Daikin Industries, the worlds largest HVAC manufacturer. AAF is on a mission to supply clean air to help protect people, processes and the natural environment.Led product management in North and South America for AAF’s industrial Air Quality (Industrial air filtration) businesses.Responsible for product control (design, costing, pricing, manufacturing), product positioning, product launch & Improvement, and product lifecycle management.Also managed strategic planning, team development and organizational infrastructure improvements to support growth of AAF’s Industrial Air Quality and Power businesses.

Served as Director of Global Strategic Growth & Business Development for AAF International.Oversaw global strategic planning for AAF’s power and industrial air filtration businesses. Also led the development and launch of key growth initiatives across AAF Power & Industrial division’s businesses in order to achieve our 5-year business and revenue growth objectives.Projects/initiatives/departments managed include: wind power business development, industrial air filtration channel partner expansion, lifecycle service business expansion, APC (air pollution control) product management, and strategic alliance building (including M&A).

Americas Director of Air Pollution Control (Industrial Air Filtration) business at AAF International. Led four multi-million dollar business units providing industrial air filtration equipment and aftermarket services to customers in North and South America. Key duties included management of P&L, strategic planning, and directing sales and marketing activities. Managed direct and indirect reports in inside and outside sales, applications engineering, project management, marketing, sales enablement, and customer service. Also oversaw all dealer and representative, OEM and Key Account sales channel partnerships in the Americas region.

Served as Business Manager for Environmental Products (Air Pollution Control) division at AAF International. Responsible for overall P&L and leading sales and operations teams covering industrial filtration markets in US and Canada.

Recruited internally in Daikin to move to USA and work in the air filtration division as Global Market Development Manager for air pollution control products at AAF International.Responsibilities included management of strategic planning, market research, product development, and global business development initiatives in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East & Africa regions.

Held dual management positions in business planning and international sales for Daikin MR Engineering, a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of Daikin Industries, which specializes in air conditioning and refrigeration solutions.Led strategic planning and business development coordination among 7 Daikin group companies located in 6 countries with combined annual maritime market sales of over $115 million USD. Managed Global Business Development Department overseeing new business operations for subsidiaries and teams in China, Europe and Southeast Asia, including 1.5 years stationed in Singapore. Established branch office in Singapore providing new build engineering and aftermarket services for the Southeast Asian region.

Led sales and strategic planning for Daikin Group’s maritime business units.Managed dealer, affiliate and direct sales of HVACR engineered solutions and unitary equipment to clients in Europe, Asia and the Middle East spanning 15 countries. Managed Southeast Asia Business Group, including 6 month marketing research assignment in Singapore. Developed strategic partnerships with foreign affiliates and suppliers to expand product lineup and enter into high value project engineering solutions for new market segments.
