About Erik Jonkers

I like building environments where tech folks can flourish individually and collectively. I do that at Tweede golf, the company I founded, and in the Rust community, where I organize meetups and connect developers with companies and research&education institutions.I'm involved in open-source projects such as the Pendulum project (Network Time Protocol and Precision Time Protocol implementations in Rust) and teach-rs, and work on marketing and partnerships. I occasionally write a couple of lines of code.Our company, Tweede golf is a Rust consultancy. We design and build software for systems, web and embedded. We believe that software must become safer; that this is paramount in the digital infrastructures we rely on; and that Rust is an outstanding choice of technology for this purpose.
