Presently I am working as material specialist at Volvo AB, where i perform failure analysis of engine parts. My time at Chalmers has given me several years of research experience. It has included a lot of experimental work (both in the laboratory and in real power plants), followed by material analysis with advance analytic instruments (e.g. SEM, EDX, EDS, FIB, BIB, XRD, IC).My PhD position has partly been funded by several companies in different areas, e.g. energy producers, steel developers and producers as well as boiler manufacturers. This has given me the opportunity to be involved in and partly responsible for many projects together with the funding companies. From this, I have gained good experience of project management.During my Master studies I took several courses regarding surface chemistry as well as polymer- and paper chemistry related ones. Together with my PhD studies where the focus has been on corrosion and metallurgy I believe this has given me a deep knowledge within the field of material chemistry. Simultaneously I did a minor in managerial and industrial economics.As a person I am very driven and goal-oriented and have a great passion for finding solutions to specific problems; both from my own expertise, and by communicating with other specialists and researchers in the field. I really enjoy starting up new projects and to follow them through the process. I am very organized and thorough in my way of working and always finish my projects in good time with the best possible results.
