Volunteer work during my time as a student included design and coordination for several full-scale multi-agency WMD exercises throughout Southern California that include venues such as: the Dallas Cowboys training camp in Ventura, Port of San Diego, San Diego Harbor, 10th Avenue Terminal, San Diego Zoo, US Naval Bases, San Diego airports, Scripts Memorial Hospital, and Del Mar Race Track.

Maintain a WMD response team deployable anywhere in the US or US Territories within 60 minutes from notification by ground, fixed wing, rotary, or water craft. Coordinated with local, state, and federal emergency response agencies to improve emergency response, develop training exercises, and foster positive and collaborative relationships. Planned, managed, and supervised the operation of WMD response teams for more than 100 response alerts, National Security Events, Special Security Events such as the Rose Parade, Rose Bowl, Academy Awards, high profile venues, high profile sporting events, in addition to natural disaster support. Served as the Vice-Chair of the National Civil Support Team Survey committee; responsible for CBRNE equipment procurement, development of doctrine and training/personnel requirements, and defining future needs of the survey section.
