I am passionate about showing my clients, colleagues, and the world why good acoustical design should be a fundamental aspect of our lives. Through my volunteer work I support and contribute to new standards, test methods, and guidelines to assist designers to that end. In my work, I collaborate with designers, engineers, and owners to strike the balance between cost efficiency and measurable high-performance results. My goal is to elevate acoustical design for my industry to ensure we all benefit from the thoughtful research, continued innovation, and evidence-based solutions that will allow each person to thrive. These objectives are accomplished through my dedicated work as an acoustical consultant with experience in acoustical design and mitigation services for Healthcare, Commercial, Multi-family Residential, Higher Education, Government, K-12 Schools, Zoos & Aquariums, Industrial & Manufacturing, and Environmental noise projects. My field work includes vibration and sound level measurements (ASTC, AIIC, ISR, NISR, OITC, AI, SII, SPC), acoustic and vibration analysis, design standards and guidelines (FGI, ASHRAE/IgCC, WELL, ANSI, HUD, ASTM), and municipal environmental noise codes. Including noise modeling software packages for interior acoustics and environmental noise predictions.
