At ecosearch I sourced and interviewed potential customers to analyze their individual needs. My tasks were to identify and prioritize product features that our development team then used to refine the product. I also participated in the development of a marketing strategy and wrote copy for both social media and website content.During the height of the second COVID-19 wave, I directed, planned, filmed, and cut a video application for the SIB Make-it-LEAN Startup contest.

During my time at ecotrek, I analyzed competitors as well as potential collaboration partners. The sourcing and implementation of leads into our Hubspot sales funnel were also part of my responsibilities. To support this effort I created marketing content for Linkedin. Working with this amazing team we developed ecosearch, the first company register for sustainability.

They always say "respect your elders"... so I did. As a tour guide, I experienced great joy in welcoming 40-60 American cruise guests at the shore of the baltic sea at 6 AM in the morning. Going by train or bus, my job was to inform, advise, and entertain my guests and to make their trip to Berlin as memorable as possible. In Berlin, I either accompanied my group on a guided tour as a host, or I gave smaller guided tours on my own. The one thing I learned about myself in this job is how satisfying it is for me to make somebody else's day more joyful. Also, I am doing exceptionally well with senior citizens, so thats something, I guess.

Participation as an attendee and supervisor in the annual PAT (Project Selection Meeting) as well as regional work. Promoting the cause in local schools.

I took the term "work and travel" literally and worked as a roaming fundraiser in NZ. I convinced complete strangers on the street to donate 30+$ a month to a worthy social cause.My responsabilities as a team leader involved practicing pitches and objection handling with my team members, as well as motivating them during the rough patches of the fundraising day. In total, I raised over 150k dollars for the charities I worked for and also achieved 10 signups in one day which is a rare feed in fundraising.In fundraising I learned the importance of the story and the "why". I really enjoy building and refining those stories.
