I am responsible for providing fast, efficient, and safe ground service for various aircraft and airlines. I work in teams ranging from three to eight people. We complete our work for each flight in under 45 minuets. Within that time, my team and I must be able to perform potable and waste water service, air-start service, ground power service, pre-conditioned air service, cabin cleaning, cabin security sweeps, wing walking, marshaling, push back service, and load aircraft in accordance to load plans, airline policies, and Federal Aviation Regulations. I have been trained and regularly provide the aforementioned service for Boeing 737-700 & 800, Airbus A319 & A320, Embraer E175, and DeHavilland Dash-8/Q400.

In my position, I am responsible for facilities maintenance in the entire CSULB Student Union. My duties include, but are not limited to: wall painting and repair, furniture repair, furniture assembly, plumbing tasks, air handler/exhaust fan maintenance or repair, preventative maintenance, electrical work, battery maintenance or repair, lighting, organizing, and cleaning. Additionally, I am also responsible for safety/emergency response and building evacuation.

I was one of three students chosen by a professor to help establish a new thermodynamic research laboratory at California State University Long Beach. In the beginning, I was responsible for finding the correct raw materials for building our testing apparatuses as well as finding the best tools and equipment to purchase and stock the laboratory with. Following the start-up, I am now responsible for working with the professor and other student assistants to create and modify 3D models, as well as 2D blueprints and schematics of testing apparatuses. Once the blueprints have been completed, I work with another student to precisely machine and assemble the laboratory apparatuses according to our blueprints. When we do not have new parts to machine or apparatuses to build, I assist with our thermodynamic research and experiments.
