Technology has fascinated me since I was young. I bought my first computer when I was 17 and spent many hours programming with BASIC. I strayed away from my passion when I moved to Reno and I eventually became a single parent. After a number of years my interest in IT was rekindled when I noticed the exponential rate that technology was evolving and once I was afforded the opportunity I started taking the steps necessary to transition to the IT field from my current position. After I obtained an Associates in Computer Science I continued to study the different aspects within the field. Whether it was hands on experience with Cisco hardware, the vast offering of AWS or the thrill of programming with Python, which I just started learning.
