Coordinated with supervisors from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Naval Reactors to develop and approve timelines and evolutions. • As SCUBA Diving Officer, managed a division of 8 personnel in the safe execution of over 100 SCUBA dives on a nuclear-powered submarine all over the world, a high-risk evolution that required meticulous preparation of submarine systems as well as tracking and calculations of dive hours and bottom times.
Nuclear Power Submarine Officer Trainee
Attended Naval Nuclear Power Training School (Charleston SC), Nuclear Power Training Unit (Charleston SC), and Submarine Officer Basic Course (Groton CT) to develop strong theoretical knowledge and hands on experience with chemistry, heat transfer, mechanics, reactor theory, materials, and support systems in preparation for assignment to a Navy Submarine.
