• Led a team of 10 Officer and Senior Enlisted personnel, providing guidance, training, and assignments, in order to carry out the successful Anti-Submarine protection for Carrier Strike Group One during two Western Pacific Deployments. • Analyzed highly technical data and provided intelligible guidance to Senior Officers with recommended action. • Coordinated daily with the major commanders in Carrier Strike Group One in order to plan and de conflict the daily and projected operations of all personnel, ships, and aircraft during two Western Pacific Deployments. • Managed the monitoring and maintenance of the Anti-Submarine Warfare programs for five Arleigh Burke class destroyers. • Awarded Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for actions.

Uss Albuquerque

• Managed five divisions comprised of 5-15 highly trained sailors in the maintenance, repair, quality assurance, and continuous improvement programs, involving weapons handling, nuclear mechanical, and ships electrical distribution system onboard. Awarded two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. • Led the operation of a nuclear-powered submarine during over 50,000 nautical miles traveled and a deployment to the Indian Ocean. Responsible for ensuring the safe navigation of the ship, approving all maintenance and evolutions for nuclear and nonnuclear systems, and carrying out the Commanding Officer’s Mission. • Proven program manager that was hand selected to redevelop and implement multiple complex programs across the submarine including Chemical and Radiological Controls, Nuclear Mechanical, and Electrical divisions’ audit and surveillance programs. Led these programs to above-average evaluations across fleet standards, creating safer and more effective working conditions, and enhancing overall mission readiness. • Served as the Senior Supervisor of the midnight shift during the complex depressurization and draining of a nuclear reactors’ primary and auxiliary systems. Coordinated and oversaw the complex work controls, resulting in the early completion of the project. • Served as the Acting Engineer for one month during the decommissioning and defueling of the USS ALBUQUERQUE. Coordinated with supervisors from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Naval Reactors to develop and approve timelines and evolutions. • As SCUBA Diving Officer, managed a division of 8 personnel in the safe execution of over 100 SCUBA dives on a nuclear-powered submarine all over the world, a high-risk evolution that required meticulous preparation of submarine systems as well as tracking and calculations of dive hours and bottom times.
