I’m Erik and I like to consider myself an innovator. My background is in engineering and I now inject my technical savvy into the creative side of footwear. I don’t just help make any footwear. I am currently the VP of Product Development and Sourcing at Crocs. Under my leadership, my team has created 1000's of new styles over the years and more molded footwear than any other company. Crocs are taking over the world and I am helping to steer the ship.Each day, I get to work across a number of different verticals within our company. I oversee everything from new product development through manufacturing. Including 3D Design, system management, development, commercialization, costing, tooling, materials management, product compliance, quality, innovation, factory planning, partner selection, and more. When you’re looking to create, challenges are part of the process. Our team always shows up with our game faces on and we pride ourselves in finding solutions to anything thrown our way. I thrive on pushing our team to complete more sophisticated product at sharper price points on shorter timelines. I’d love to take credit for building one of strongest teams in the industry, but I am lucky to work alongside some of the highest caliber people in the business. I understand that successful companies are built by exceptional teams and I take immense pride in having one of the best. When I’m not working, you may see me doing a speaking engagement, which I really find a fun challenge.Where will I be five years from now? I plan to still be at Crocs. We are devising to revolutionize the footwear industry over the coming years and I want to be there to help make it happen.

I worked my way from a Senior Design Engineer to a Managing Engineer and finally became the Global Program Manager.
