In my current role as the Technology Director, my responsibility is to manage all aspects of the technology department: Administrative and Technical. In my administrative capacity I work with the school board, Superintendent, and campus administration to develop technology solutions that fit the school district’s needs. Using my technology and administrative skill set I have been able to implement enterprise technology solutions providing the district with a consistent and advanced IT Infrastructure. Deployed Office 365 in a Hybrid environment giving cloud computing and collaboration for Faculty and Students. With Microsoft allowing for free accounts, I was able to give students enterprise collaboration tools. - Integrated SharePoint to replace outdated databases for administrative processes, such as applications for: Purchase Authorization, Sick Leave and Travel request. - Installed and configured SCCM 2012 to manage network devices, VMs, MS Forefont and deploy software to devices.- Implemented Dell/EMC VxRail hyperconverge enviorment to upgrade server virtualization as well as Citrix VDI.- Continuously managing Microsoft licensing to ensure the district is abreast of the most current licensing structure for public education.- Managing Universial Services ERATE program to maximize district resourses. Refreshed district complete network wired & wiresless saving the district over $100,000.- Standardized hardware, such as Dell for Servers and desktops, Cisco wired infrastructure, Meraki wireless to ease support issues and lessen complexity.- With the need for security, phones were installed in every classroom utilizing Cisco VoIP district wide.- Worked with administration and school board to develop and implement a security plan, including fencing, security cameras and door access control.

- Assisted in all aspects of the technology department – budgeting, managing technology committees, phone/tech support, research new technologies, etc…- Researched, planned and implemented Windows 2003, Exchange 2003 and XP Pro. to lessen support issues and downtime.- Enforced student policies by using Group Policies within Active Directory.- Increased software deployment using MS SUS server and MSI Packages using Group Policy.- Conducted training on new software to increase user knowledge and productivity.

- Assisted in technology research for improvements and growth for the city.- Researched a call logger for the new W.F. dispatch communication center. Reviewed RFP responses for purchase of the call logger. Assisted in the City Council presentation once bids were received.- Included in implementing new Public Safety Network encompassing: Network infrastructure, Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Ed., installation of 150 new computers, and installing all CAD/Records software (Oracle data base 10g & CAD interface) - Built organization utilizing Active Directory and Group Policy to manage User and Computer accounts at the server level on new Public Safety Network- Researched and recommended new technology ideas and standards to help improve the City’s Technology Department and overall city efficiency- Participated as a team player in all aspects of the City’s Technology Department- Met or exceeded all technology issues for the City as part of a team.

- Administrated all aspects of Boley Featherston’s System/Network.- Managed a Windows 2000/Exchange5.5 network with 50 local users and 10 remote (Terminal Services).- Conducted training on new software to increase user knowledge and productivity.- Implemented imaging to create a paperless office utilizing Paper Port and TAM.
