♦ Led 14 Sailors in the warehouse operation, inventory, stowage and upkeep of 16,000 line items valued at $11.7M in support of 10 Patrol Coastal Ships in the Middle East Region. Provided training to less experienced staff in material identification, stock replenishment, and customer services functions and verified all incoming material and equipment is stocked in warehouse based on final destination of material.♦ Developed a bill payment process for husbanding and port visits contracting requirements. Processed over 550 payment vouchers totaling $3.6M. This ensured all invoices are financial compliant and prevents late fees. ♦ Logistician Team Lead for the development of newly Constructed Naval vessels. Monitored and validated Integrated Logistics Support development. Directly supervised 7 personnel in the performance of Stock Control operations and logistics training prior to ship’s custody transfer. Provided stock control support to three Littoral Combat Ships (LCS).♦ Conducted supply research of repair and replacement spare parts with government supply system and commercial market place improving the time and availability of parts and services. Utilized government and commercial logistic search engines to include ERP, HAYSTACK, GDAPL, LMS 21, FEDLOG, and One Touch supply databases to located necessary goods and services ensuring the best value for the government.♦ Expedited over 1,500 high-priority requisitions, reconciled over 2,500 suspended documents resulting in shorter lead times, and increased material availability. Corrected over 5,225 failed sales orders in ERP system, reducing backlog by 56%.♦ Created and implemented new procedures that eliminate procedures that eliminated over 3,600 backlogged invoices worth $5.4M, saving the organization $90K in late interest fees. These actions were a key factor in my organization receiving the “Logistics Excellence Award” and the “Secretary of Defense Field-Level Maintenance Award.
