From a young age, I have always searched for a way to converge my logical, left-brained, perfectionist approach and extreme attention to detail, and my intuitive, right-brained, empathetic and creative nature. The world of retail has allowed me to marry these two opposing sets of abilities. The balance of responsibilities provides a balance in me as well, and my innate abilities, honed through years of experience, have allowed me to flourish. *Experience is my passion. If I am not exploring; learning; trying; failing; changing; nurturing, then I am not growing. If I am not growing, then I am failing myself. If I have no experience to share, then I am failing others as well.*I entered the retail industry 18 years ago simply to connect with others, share my interests, and frankly, to make money—I couldn’t have known the places I’d explore, the skills and knowledge I’d learn, the new things I’d try, the ways I’d fail, the ways I’d change, or the growth I’d eventually come to nurture. My goal in life is to continue treading down this path of growth, and to bring my experiences to others through my leadership. I am humble, I am genuine, I am empathetic. I am also focused, determined, and motivated to succeed in whatever I do. I strongly value mental health/wellness, environmentalism/sustainability, and balance in life. It’s more important to me than ever to mesh my career with my passions and I can’t wait to find that opportunity.
