In class we covered "college readiness" topics like how to apply for scholarships and federal aid, the college search process, and the college admission.

I crewed dozens of sporting events for broadcast television, working primarily as a Video Operator (V1 and V2). Most of my work was with ProShow's trucks as a V1 for multicam shows, and I occasionally worked on larger shows/trucks, including Mira Mobile Television's.

I designed and taught a 3-day, upper division course on using Apple's Final Cut Pro Studio.

I work as a runner/PA, utility on live broadcasts of college sports, including Oregon and Oregon State football, basketball and volleyball. I've also worked as a "Fox Box" operator and a parabolic mic operator. I've done other remote production part time for several years.

I worked mostly in high schools as a substitute teacher. I usually substituted for video production, business tech, journalism and yearbook classes. I've also worked as an English teacher and have done some work with middle school students.

I was in charge of the field and studio equipment and facilities used by students and faculty of the journalism program at the UO. My duties included repairing and maintaining video cameras, lighting equipment, microphones, grip; specifying and recommending new equipment; hiring, training, and supervising small student staff; creating and maintaining.
