As a venue engineer at four Olympic Games and multiple Olympic Trials I was responsible for post-production systems and prime-time segments under extremely tight deadlines. Venues included track & field, gymnastics, figure skating/speed-skating, swimming/diving, and downhill skiing. At NBC Olympics headquarters I worked as the EIC at the facility and in preparation for the first all HD games coverage as well as the at-home project which brought production back to the US during the games.

Technical planning and direction at the largest post-production company in the region with significant capacity. Key responsibilities included budgeting, project management and training.Designed a facility that grew into numerous HD edit and effects finishing suites, HD telecine, over a dozen Avids, on-line, design, 3D, sound design, streaming media, duplications, etc.While employed by Flying Spot, Erik designed and deployed the first web application of it's type to stream live video of a session in progress to remote clients. He also designed the live video systems and control room at the new Safeco Field for the Seattle Mariners.
