Responsible for the development of quality documentation, facilitation of continuous improvements and working with suppliers and vendors to resolve quality issues. Help maintain and audit ISO documentation. Support Quality Technicians to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.

Ensure the quality of the products and the processes in all of the semi-finished goods departments (mixing, calendering, and extrusion). Monitor and report on the suitability and the effectiveness of the installed Quality Systems. Organize and conduct quality audits of the people, the processes, and the products in the semi-finish departments. Identifying and reporting situations that create risk for products/customer. Also, respond to non-conforming incidents by reviewing shop actions for effectiveness of containment and assist in the development of Corrective and Preventive Action Plans. Manage the plants deviations from specification requests.

Led the company’s Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process. Worked on Corrective Action Reports by uncovering the root cause and implementing more effective controls. Developed Quality Control Identification Drawings, dimensional data sheets, control plans, process failure modes effects and analysis sheets, SPC study reports, and process flow diagrams. Assisted in Black Belt Six Sigma projects. Performed inspections of products using ultrasonic testers, CMM’s, portable CMM’s (romer arm), pin point lasers, and a variety of gage/measuring devices. Wrote the programs for Romer Arms, and calibrated most precision instruments, including the romer arms.
