About Erik Walker

My name is Erik Walker, and I develop solutions that make a difference.I love architecture and have wanted to be an architect since my first day of high school, and every step I have taken since has been in that direction. A graduate of North Dakota State University in 2007 with the first graduating class to achieve a Masters of Architecture in addition to a Bachelors of Environmental Design, and a Bachelors of History.Since, I have had the opportunity to work a variety of different project typologies ranging from office buildings, financial institutions, retail centers, assisted living facilities, nursing facilities, medical office buildings, hospitals, hotels, community buildings, and storage facilities that have utilized a variety of different structural systems, all designed and detailed with nearly every piece of software on the market, which gives the confidence in knowing that I can handle any project that comes my way.I am always looking to grow my knowledge, experience, as well as my circle of influence, as you never know whom you may need to rely on for the success of a project. I take great pride in the practice of architecture, and believe in doing the right thing, the right way. Architecture is a gift that everyone should have the opportunity to receive. I don't do this for the money, the awards, or even recognition- I do this because it fulfills a need and my brain knows no other way.
