My firm specializes in Auto Industry Claims, Estate Planning, and working directly with Independent dealers and state associations including the Texas Independent Automotive Dealer Association and the Houston Independent Automotive Dealer Association for the benefit of dealers across Texas. I have been in the auto industry in different capacities for over 15 years. I started in leasing and finance at Lamborghini Beverly Hills (while in college at Pepperdine) in the early 2000's. After Leaving state employment in 2012, I began working as outside General Counsel for a holding company that was entering its infancy in the auto sector. As GC for this company, I created a new entity for the dealership to operate under and handled all of the legal and administrative work to create a new dealership in Austin, Texas. This task included creating new OCCC licenses, TXDmv application, and other formal state requirements to get that location up and running. The company later bought out several other dealerships around the state and I was formerly tasked with handling all legal matters at these dealerships including creating a separate finance company for the company's buy-here pay-here dealerships. Today this is a multi-million dollar company and along the way I created several other subsidiary companies for the parent company including, GPS, Transportation, Racing, and Collections. On the litigation side of things, I have handled everything from major DTPA litigations and alleged OCCC/TxDmv violations with state agencies to a myriad of breach of contract claims over installment contract disputes related to payments, unapproved title encumbrances, repo's, etc. At this time I have expanded my firm and have recently begun to work with local consumers, lenders, and other dealerships to help resolve their problems across Texas.

Provide ongoing legal services for mid-size investment company (and it’s subsidiaries) with over 10 million in holdings including but not limited to, forming and maintaining corporate entities, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and compliance with state and federal law. Most recently I have created purchase and sale agreements, settlement agreements, UCC-1 filings and security agreements, finance agreements, employment contracts, GAP insurance forms and Debt Cancellation forms, policies for complying with OCCC (Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commission) and TxDMV regulations and I’ve litigated on all legal matters concerning the company's dealerships, GPS, and transportation companies.

Worked in the office of General Counsel providing business and legal advice on the agency’s statutory design and construction issues, especially as it relates to practical issues in the disciplines of construction, architecture, engineering and project management. Ancillary issues include land acquisition, compliance with applicable codes and regulations, intergovernmental agreements, public-private partnerships, joint development projects and commercial transactions. In addition, advises on construction defects, contract compliance issues, professional services solicitations, construction, architect and engineering services, project management, zoning, title issues, etc. I also created and provided semi-annual compliance seminars for our property management division.

Served as state appointed representative for the Texas Facilities Commission on this board with other representatives from both state and local government to coordinate present and future statewide transportation and construction projects in Texas.

Served as a member of the board responsible for substantive changes to the UGC. Meetings included all major construction developers, representation from the Office of the Attorney General, Texas Facilities Commission, and local minority construction developers in reaching a consensus for necessary substantive changes to the UGC code and guidelines.

Worked under General Counsel in the SOS executive office, dealing primarily with state business, open records requests, bill drafting, and public filings, then as a staff attorney for a multitude of election related issues. I was also a presenter for our annual statewide elections seminar that taught elections procedure and regulations to all Texas county administrators.
