Als projectmanager bij Toogethr ben ik verantwoordelijk voor zowel het klantcontact als voor de executie van de (offline- en online) activatie. Tevens draag ik als MT lid bij aan de algehele strategie van Toogethr en ben ik nauw betrokken bij productontwikkeling. Daarnaast was ik verantwoordelijk voor de uitrol van de (offline- en online) activatie binnen Accenture.

Background:Energy refurbishment of heritage buildings is currently not considered at all because the EU Energy Performance in Buildings Directive (EPBD) is not applicable to historic buildings. These (old) buildings however are constructed without much energy efficiency interests and show very high energy consumption levels. A reduction of factor 4 is well achievable with market available techniques and solutions. Aim:In order to understand the refurbishment of heritage buildings the ReFoMo project funded by Climate-Kic has been established. By removing market obstacles and assessing and developing tools and consultancy products the ReFoMo project aims to smoothen the path towards large scale climate-proof refurbishment of heritage buildings.UU Research:Our research consisted of a literature research regarding the current status of historical building refurbishment in the Netherlands and a theoretical approach that allows understanding of different barriers (financial, legal, social, technical and organisational) that block refurbishment of historical buildings. By doing interviews with stakeholders involved in historical building refurbishment in the region of Utrecht, a better understanding of common barriers that block refurbishment in this sector could be developed.
