Reporting to owner, responsible for all day-to-day operations and financial management of metal recycling business spanning local and national markets.· Establish and manage all sales relationships and marketing programs including identifying new clients, sponsorships, community relations and social media presence.· Oversee supply and distribution chains and vendors to ensure reliability, safety, security, and cost efficiency for multi-million dollar inventory of ferrous, non-ferrous, rare earth, and precious metals.· Manage financial operations, budgeting and planning, cash management, and receivables/payables.· Responsible for Human Resources including recruiting, training, compensation & benefits, and performance management.· Develop and manage third-party advisors to ensure best practices in benefits, financial, taxes, contracts, employment law, OSHA, money laundering, and other compliance regulations.· Instrumental in all purchasing matters from inventory to vehicles, heavy machinery, and large equipment.· Represent company at Empire Metal Merchants Association as well as the national Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries
